Frequently asked questions

Buying and parts compatibility

How can I be sure the part is compatible with my car?

Use the search tool by plate or vehicle data (make, model, engine, year): it is a useful guide, but always check the OEM code shown on the product page or consult a professional before purchase or fitting.

What happens if I buy a part that turns out to be incompatible?

It depends on the cause: if the incompatibility results from incorrect data in Partigo's catalogue, the return carries no charge; if instead you chose a part based on correct catalogue data that then does not fit your vehicle, the ordinary withdrawal regime applies, with the related costs.

Do the prices on the site include VAT?

Yes, all prices are in euros and include VAT. Any shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm the order.

If a product is on offer, how can I tell whether the discount is real?

For every price reduction we also show the lowest price applied in the previous 30 days, in accordance with price transparency regulations.

Can I buy as a company with a VAT number?

Yes. If you buy with a VAT number for professional purposes, different conditions apply from those reserved for consumers (no 14-day right of withdrawal and no 24-month guarantee of conformity): the provisions dedicated to Business Customers apply.

How do I complete an order on Partigo?

You select the product, check your cart, enter your billing and shipping details, choose the payment method, review the summary (price, shipping, any charges) and confirm with the “Order with obligation to pay” button. The contract is considered concluded when you receive the order confirmation by email.

Shipping and delivery

What should I check when I receive the parcel?

Check that the packaging is intact and not damaged, wet or otherwise tampered with (including the sealing materials). In case of visible damage, we recommend writing a specific reservation on the courier's delivery document, describing the problem found.

Does Partigo ship outside Italy?

No, deliveries are made exclusively within Italy, through qualified express couriers.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Average delivery times are shown on the product page and during the checkout process; they are indicative, without prejudice to the legal maximum of 30 days from the conclusion of the contract.

What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery?

The courier makes the delivery attempts provided for by its own standards; if the goods remain in storage beyond the communicated deadlines and are not collected, the order is considered terminated and you receive a refund, minus the costs of shipping, storage and return of the goods.

Payments

Which payment methods can I use?

Credit and debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay, all handled through Stripe.

Does Partigo store my card details?

No, payment data is processed directly by the payment service provider: Partigo does not come into possession of the full details of payment instruments.

Can I pay in instalments?

Klarna is among the accepted payment methods; for the terms of any instalment payment, refer to what Klarna offers at checkout.

Is payment secure?

Yes, all payments are handled by Stripe, in accordance with the highest security standards in the industry.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Can I return a product if I have simply changed my mind?

Yes. You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without having to give any reason.

How do I exercise the right of withdrawal?

Through the digital function available in your account area, or by completing the Standard Withdrawal Form and sending it to info@partigo.it or to the certified email (PEC) address matheria@pec.net.

Do I have to upload photos to open a withdrawal request?

No, uploading photos is optional and only serves to make the logistics of the return easier: it is never a condition for the request to be valid.

Will I be asked whether I have fitted or tried the product?

Yes, but this information is only used for quality control when the goods come back: it does not in any way affect the validity of the withdrawal request.

Are there products I cannot return?

Yes: sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons, if opened after delivery (e.g. sealed liquids and consumables). Electrical or electronic components, however, can always be returned, even if installed.

By when must I send the product back after notifying my withdrawal?

Within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal.

Legal guarantee of conformity (24 months)

What does the legal guarantee cover?

It covers lack-of-conformity defects that already exist at the time the goods are delivered and that become apparent within 24 months of that date.

How do I open a warranty claim?

Through the dedicated form in your account area, stating the plate, chassis number, mileage at the time of installation and removal, a description of the defect and at least two photos of the product.

What is not covered by the guarantee?

Normal wear and tear of the component and defects resulting from incorrect or non-professional installation.

How long does it take to assess a warranty claim?

Partigo gives its decision within 4 weeks of receiving the product at its warehouse.

If I ask for an invoice, do I lose the 24-month guarantee and drop to 12 months?

No. Requesting an invoice does not make you lose consumer status: you still have the right to the 24-month guarantee. Only those who buy in the course of an entrepreneurial, commercial or professional activity are “professionals”, with different conditions.

If the defect is not covered by the guarantee, what happens to the product?

We notify you with the reasons and the photographic documentation of the inspection; the product remains at your disposal in the warehouse for 30 days, within which you can ask for it to be shipped back (at your expense) or collect it in person.

Refund costs, times and methods

How do I receive the label to ship the return?

Once the request has been accepted, we send you the shipping instructions by email, including the prepaid return label, valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

How should I pack the product I am returning?

Put the product back in its intact original packaging, inside a second protective package, avoiding applying stickers or shipping labels directly to the product's packaging.

How much does it cost to return a product?

€5.99 per return shipment (a single amount, regardless of the number of parcels returned) in the case of withdrawal without particular reasons. It is free if the product received is wrong, incompatible due to a catalogue error, damaged during transport or defective.

How long does it take to receive the refund?

For withdrawal, within 14 days of notification of the decision, and in any case within 3 working days of completing the check on the product returned to the warehouse. For the guarantee, the claim is processed within 4 weeks of the product being received at the warehouse.

How is the refund made?

As a rule with the same payment method used for the purchase, at no cost to you. Alternatively you can choose a shopping voucher of the same amount, valid for 12 months; if it expires unused, you are still entitled to a cash refund of the remaining part. For warranty claims relating to purchases made more than 6 months earlier, if the payment system no longer allows the credit to the same instrument, the refund is made by bank transfer.

Complaints and ADR

What can I do if I am not satisfied with how my case was handled?

You can contact our Customer Service; if the dispute cannot be resolved, you can use the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided for by articles 141 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code.

Does Partigo adhere to a specific ADR body?

Not at the moment: the reference to the statutory rules mentioned above remains in force.

Can I use the European ODR platform?

No, the platform was shut down on 20 July 2025 and is no longer active. In the absence of an out-of-court settlement, the court of your place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, if in Italy.
